After showcasing our best performance in the P&G CEO Challenge 2017 national round in Thailand, BBA students consisting of Wichayut Woodtikarn and Pichapa Tiramanit, together with three other members, are offered one of the greatest opportunities in their life representing P&G Thailand in Singapore at P&G Asia CEO Challenge 2017. They will be competing against the brightest minds from 8 different countries in Asia Pacific Region consisting of Japan, South Korea,China, Hongkong, Singapore, The Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The winning team of this round will get to represent P&G Asia Pacific region in the Global arena of Global P&G CEO Challenge in Panama, which will be held in 2018. With the overarching goal, the competition was very intense since every team want to win this once in a lifetime opportunity

Here comes the most important part: case cracking. We were given around 5 days to prepare the presentation before going to Singapore. It was very intense learning about FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), new fastest growing E-commerce platform and applying the information right away. We also had to consider feasibility, execution and recommendations that will differentiate ourselves from other teams.

The Asia final round kicked off by training sessions from P&G asia pacific’s president and top managers. We learned how to think like P&Gers, the innovation windows at P&G, and ultimately its story of success in the past . These sessions tremendously help us understand more about how P&G run their business successfully.

Next is the presentation date, we were given 10 minutes for presentation and followed by the 10 mins Q&A. With little sleep, we presented the best with confidence towards our recommendations and hoped for the best. Finally, we were announced to be the winner of the Asia CEO Challenge 2017 and got to represent this region in the upcoming Global round in 2018 in Panama.

We would like to express gratitude towards everyone involved in our success starting from P&G Thailand, P&G Human Resources Team, BBA Thammasat, BBA case team’s advisors our teammates, friends, and families who have supported us along the way. Thank you!
