Consulting is always a top-answer careers for business student. But in reality, it's really hard to understand what consultants actually do in their job. During my 4-year life at BBA, this session is my most important session among all. Not only I had a chance to talk with many inspirational people and understand management consulting, but it also guided me to pursue consulting career. Giving me a life-time chance to work in top management consulting firm in the world.

Consulting career day is organized once a year by BBA Thammasat in purpose of helping BBA students expose to global management consulting firm such as McKinsey & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company and Roland Berger. I would say this is definitely a privilege to BBA Thammasat students since these firms would normally organize their own session. The session help us understand more what management consultant do in a day, what is the culture of each company and how to apply for a full-time job. There was also a networking session that you could personally discuss with real consultants including senior partners who spent more than 10 years in the firm. Overall, this was the perfect session which come in at the right time for 4 year students
At that time, I personally had very limited understanding to management consulting. Like other 4th year Finance students, I aimed only investment banking and corporate finance. However, right after the event, i decided to take a shot and apply to a company which I really want to join. Fortunately, I received an offer and came back this year to share my experience. I would like to thank you BBA Thammasat for organizing is session and hope to looking forward to seeing this kind of great event again every year.
